Aquatic Centre

Scaffold:

Evan Jones Construction needed to get access to form the ceiling of the new Aquatic Centre.  The scaffold was built two and a half times for the three stages, and the scaffold ranged from 6.5 to 10.5 metres high x 31m deep x 30m wide.

Propping:

The following photos show Scaffold Marlborough's propping of the new roof structure from the bottom of one of the new swimming pools.  The Marlborough District Council redevelopment of Blenheim's Aquatic Centre started early in 2010, and the first stage being the new indoor pools opened in June 2011.  The second stage being the redevelopment of the old indoor pools, and the construction on the new outdoor pools is scheduled to be complete by December 2011, the main contractor on the project is Evan Jones Construction.
