Wairau River Bridge

Contractors undertaking cabling work being done on the Wairau River Bridge at Tua Marina needed safe access.  Scaffold Marlborough installed a temporary scaffold walkway one meter below the road deck level. 

With the work being done in May and June 2011, the scaffold was tested a few times during the project, when the river rose, and was bank to bank up to the level of the scaffold during heavy rainfall.

A sign of relief from Lyndon when the equipment was dismantled safe and sound at the end of the job.
